Treasure Island - Open-Air Theatre at Squire's Milford

Squire’s Garden Centre in Milford (Surrey) is hosting an open-air theatre production of “Treasure Island” on Saturday 18th August and Monday 27th August.
 
Bring a picnic, and a blanket or chair, and soak up the atmosphere in the stunning garden setting at Squire’s in Milford. Entrance is 6pm, and the show is 7-9pm with a short interval.
 
Tickets are £14 for adults and £9 for children (under 4’s are free), or £40 for a family of 4. Book at www.squiresgardencentres.co.uk

Train rides at Great Cockrow Railway

The Great Cockcrow Railway is open every Sunday from 6th May until 28th October. We operate from 1.30pm till 5.00pm with the booking office closing at 4:45pm.

We will also be running on Wednesdays from 1st to 29th August. Trains run from 1:00pm till 4:00pm, with the last tickets being sold at 3.45pm.

Gnomus: caretaker of the Earth at Kew Gardens

Meet Gnomus, a giant puppet who will lead you on a story-filled adventure through the world's temperate lands.

The last survivor of an ancient race, Gnomus is a font of knowledge. As 'caretaker of the Earth', he's emerged from his underground home to check on the plants at the Temperate House.

In a gift to Kew, Gnomus is sharing special stories that show children how important it is to value and learnabout some of the world's rarest and most endangered species. 

Performances will last 15 minutes. Please check times at the gate upon arrival into the gardens. FREE with your entry to the gardens.

 

50 days of Summer at Birdworld

Dusty's Wildlife Rangers at WWT London Wetland Centre

Patches Playtime at Squire's Badshot Lea

Squire’s Garden Centres has a great new interactive farmyard experience for children to enjoy in August. Called “Patches Playtime” children of all ages can discover life down on the (animatronic!) farm at Squire’s in Badshot Lea (Surrey) and Stanmore (Middlesex) from 1st-31st August between 10am-4pm.

There’s plenty to do down on the farm:

  • Two great puppet shows
  • Plant a magic carrot seed
  • Create a flower windmill
  • Dig for potatoes
  • Wash the life-like cow and her calves

Tickets cost £6.50 per child per hour (adults are free), and can be purchased online at www.squiresgardencentres.co.uk or at Squire’s on the day.

Our regular public open afternoons are popular with families and entrance is free. Train rides are available on both our ground level and raised tracks. Tickets are £1.50 each or £5 for five. You can keep unused tickets for travel on a later date. Our outdoor "garden" railways will be running, as will our OO gauge railway in the clubhouse. Light refreshments are available.

Weyfest Music Festival nr Farnham
