Haslemere Educational Museum

Visited the museum yesterday and had a lovely time. So much to do and see and the staff were all lovely and friendly. Finding thing to keep both a 9 month old and an 11 year old happy for any length of time isn't easy but our visit definitely succeeded. Both kids loved meeting Arthur and the dressing up costumes, the mummy, the stuffed animals and the bee hive was a massive hit. Would definitely recommend a visit, whether you have just an hour or a whole afternoon you'll find plenty to interest.

This place is a real gem. It sits unassumingly on the main street in Haslemere and is Surrey's answer to the national history museum.

Would recommend for young national history enthusiasts, those with a penchant for stuffed animals and older school age children who are interested to learn about such things.

Perfect for a gentle wander on a dull day.
