Bourne Recreation Ground

This is our local play area and it is a bit tired - equipment stays wet for a long time after rain and slide is quite tricky for small children to climb but two toddler and two child swings and a climbing frame for older ones. Does get very busy at end of school time as close to village school. Plus side is it is enclosed but within a large open space and there is a cafe a minute's walk away on the main road which has loads of children's books/toys and does kid's meals. My son loves taking his diggers.trucks and loading them up with the chippings. There has been a consultation recently about upgrading the playground - there is a rolling programme of refurbs in Farnham at the moment so fingers crossed will be improved soon!
