If you are planning to try to get a peek at the Olympic torch on Friday, here are some timings and details of its route. (please note all times are approx.)
From around 2.15pm it will come into Redhill on the A25, then go through the High Street and onto the A23, turning into Carlton Road to join Gatton Park Road. It will arrive in Reigate via Croydon Road and follow the one-way route through the High Street, before leaving along the A25 towards Dorking.
The torch will be in Dorking at 4.10pm and will leave Westott at approx. 4.45pm. It will then pass by Shere at about 4.55pm.
The relay will then start in Godalming at approx 5.30pm at Meadrow and end just before Eashing Lane.
It will arrive by convoy at the roundabout near Guildford Cathederal just before 6.15pm. It will then be carried along The Chase, Madrid Road, Guildford Park Road, Farnham Road, Bridge Street, Millbrook, the High Street and London Road and end up at Stoke Park (ticket only event).
However, the flame won't be on display for long as it is due to leave the site at 7:30pm via rescue helicopter to be taken to the Tower of London!
