favourite place

I discovered Farnham park when I had my first child and would walk daily down the " avenue" of trees. I now visit the place with my 4yr old and 2 yr old. It has a great cafe, great walks and the adventure playground is great. Parking is free at the top end nr the golf club.

The younger playground is being improved and will be a welcome new part of the park.. before, this small play area had 2 swings and that was that.. it looks great but I agree, was a disappointment not to be open for Easter.
We have spent 4-5 hours in the park, picnicking, mini-beast hunting, blackberry picking and doing the adventure playground. Despite being a huge place, it is a bit of a Farnham secret as there is only one street sign for the park in the town.
Despite the lovely weather, it never really gets too busy...infact it is at its busiest when it snows and the whole town goes sledging!!

Very good park for children and dogs. The only problem is the car park is limited but we did manage to park after waiting 10 minutes or so.

Lovely park
on April 11, 2011
How did I not know about this park? Went today and it is great - lovely place for picnics, great adventure playground. Only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars is that the younger children's playground is closed at the mo but when that is up and running again it will be a 5 star place for us.

Great adventure playground
on February 1, 2011
The adventure playground here is brilliant. The cafe is very handy. There are some lovely walks through the trees. You can either take the long or short walk from the car park to the adventure playground. We took the long walk and collected LOADS of blackberries along the way.
