Holy Trinity Pewley Down pupils Elliot, nine, Jamie, 11, and Ellie, 10, were among more than 1,000 contestants in a BBC children's competition to write a three-minute script to be acted out by the stars of the show, including the Doctor himself, Matt Smith. Sadly, having got through to the final 10 shortlist, the children were told this month that their script had narrowly missed out on winning the competition, but that writer of the series Stephen Moffat had been so impressed he was sending them a prize anyway. |
